Version 4.0 of the Inference Engine Component Suite updates the IECS for the latest and next generation versions of Delphi. It adds:
•CLIPS DefModule Support! IECS now supports CLIPS defmodules, allowing you to set up your expert system where each module can reason in its own domain space (enabling simpler and easier to debug rules) and share information between the modules.
•New Module Editor and Dialogs
•FireMonkey Support! IECS now supports the Embarcadero FMX library and is cross-platform. The Vcl (Win32 and Win64) and FMX versions are identical (and in general use the exact same components in the exact same units) except that the FMX version does not have the DB components. There are new versions of all the IE Dialogs, including Console Editor, Rule Editor, etc.
•New TIEVclPackage includes Vcl- and Windows-specific IECS functions. Note that by default these functions are not available to the TInferenceEngine component. To enable these functions, drop the TIEVclPackage component onto your Vcl form and set the Engine property to your Inference Engine.
•New TIEFMXPackage includes FMX-specific IECS functions. Note that by default these functions are not available to the TInferenceEngine component. To enable these functions, drop the TIEFMXPackage component onto your FMX form and set the Engine property to your Inference Engine.
•New FMX-specific Expert System Functions, including Animation functions
•TConsoleDialog, TRulesDialog, TDefinedTypesDialog, TFactsDialog, TFactSetDialog, TFactTemplatesDialog support Vcl applications.
•TFMXConsoleDialog, TFMXRulesDialog, TFMXDefinedTypesDialog, TFMXFactsDialog, TFMXFactSetDialog, TFMXFactTemplatesDialog support FMX applications.
•RiverSoftAVG Charting Component Suite v4.0! The IECS uses the RiverSoftAVG Charting Component Suite, which has been updated for Vcl (Win32 and Win64) and FMX. The RiverSoftAVG Charting Component Suite is free (to everyone) with source for non-commercial use. A Commercial use license is included free with all versions of IECS v4.0 users ($100 value). The RCCS v4.0 also added the following features:
•FireMonkey Support! (RCCS now supports Win32, Win64, and FMX)
•Separate Legend ListBox Component available, display all values in a chart and control selection and visibility from the legend
•Display charts on chart panel (with integrated axes, legend, header, footers, etc) or stand-alone
•Supports FMX Effects (bevel, shadow, swirl, etc) and animations on charts (FMX Only)
•100% Object Pascal Source Code. The IECS is now available in source code versions only.
